Sherlock Holmes Sewing Machines is a much loved family owned and operated business and is an authorised retailer of brand new Brother, Janome, Elna and Juki sewing machines, overlockers and embroidery machines. We also sell an extensive range of second hand sewing machines, haberdashery, parts, Horn Sewing Furniture, and quilting needs.We always strive to provide you with outstanding service and support every time.  We take pride in serving our customers to the best of our ability, to not only build long-term customer relationships, but to prove loyal and trustworthy to the entire sewing community and general public.

Our Skills

Our technicians are Peter Holmes, son Jaydan Holmes, and son-in-law Daniel Ruiz. Peters dad, Derek Holmes, was a Singer technician in the UK and passed his high standard of knowledge and skills down to Peter. Subsequently Jaydan has become a part of the trade and business, being a third-generation technician. Our son-in-law Daniel has also been fully trained, and is an integral part of our business.

All of our servicing is guaranteed by our technicians who are regularly undergoing factory training, and service ALL brands. These include Janome, Brother, Juki, Elna, Husqvarna, Pfaff, Bernina, Singer, Semco, Simplicity, Toyota, Bernette, Lumina, Sterling and many more. Ongoing factory training is only given to authorised brand retailers, which will give you peace of mind that our staff are trained up to the minute with the latest technology and authentic parts to keep your machines in their best condition.

Our Guarantee

We have been in business on the peninsular area, Kippa Ring, Sandgate, Boondall and also previously at Stafford since 1958. As we have a retail store front, you know that you have a guaranteed business to come to at anytime.

All of our servicing is guaranteed by our technicians who are regularly undergoing factory training.  If a machine is serviced by a non authorised technician or non authentic parts are used, this will void your warranty. You can rest assured that to be a registered and reputable brand new sales and service centre, we have to uphold an extremely high level of expertise and repeat training in our staff.
